How to cancel Audible membership?

It is very simple to cancel the Audible membership. The cancellation cannot be done from an Audible app installed on your phone or any other gadget. It can be done by accessing the desktop version of the Audible site.

It is advisable to utilize any remaining credits that you have in your Audible wallet before canceling your subscription otherwise you will lose them as the membership ends.

Let’s have a look at how to cancel out the membership:

  1. First, log in to your account on Audible.com and scroll down to your name; where you will be able to access a dropdown menu.
  2. Now click on “Account details,” and open the page that shows all the details.
  3. Click on the “Cancel Membership” tab there.
  4. Now scroll down on the website and click on the “Continue canceling” button.
  5. The website will ask the reason for canceling the subscription. You can select an option whichever you find appropriate.
  6. If another screen pops up asking you to switch the membership plan, you need to ignore that and click on the “Finish Cancelling” button.
  7. This is the point where your membership is officially canceled. You would be able to see the current billing cycle till the end of the month along with any of the remaining credits in your subscription.

How to pause the Audible membership?

The option of pausing the Audible membership instead of canceling is also available on the website. This particular option is available only for the members of Audible Plus and Audible Premium Plus members.

The members can put their Audible accounts on hold for a maximum of three months but they can use this option only once in a period of 12 months.

If the account is paused or kept on hold; the Audible Premium Plus members are allowed to continue their credits even, but they are not eligible to listen to the Audible plus catalog.

To pause the membership immediately, you can contact Audible customer service. To pause Audible membership, you need to follow the following steps:

  1. Go to the Audible.com contact page and click on the membership button.
  2. Now from the dropdown menu, select the “Switch, Pause or Cancel my Membership” tab.
  3. You can select your desired mode of communication from chat, phone or email. This way you can communicate with a representative of the Audible and get your account paused for the time being.
